XCOR to present at Space Access '02
This will be a homecoming for Jackson who grew up in the Phoenix area and is a former member of the Arizona Space Commission. Jackson stated, ``We are very pleased to be addressing the Space Access Society on the progress of XCOR. We will be able to share an inside view of a rocket engine company from start up to international recognition.'' According to Jackson, the conference will always hold special meaning for XCOR since their first major funding developed as a result of a previous Space Access annual meeting. The Space Access Society's purpose is to promote radically cheaper access to space. According to the organizers, Space Access '02 will take place Thursday evening April 25th, 2002, and all day and evening on Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th. Registration is $100 in advance, $120 at the door and a $30 student rate at the door only. More information on the conference can be found at Space Access Society web site, www.space-access.org or by calling 602-431-9283. XCOR Aerospace is a California corporation located in Mojave, California. The company is in the business of developing and producing safe, reliable and reusable rocket-powered vehicles and propulsion systems that enable affordable access to space. ###
